The U.P. Trail

This is the story of the men who surveyed the trail for the westward expansion of the Union Pacific railroad, and of one man in particular, the gifted engineer Warren Neale, his courage and resourcefulness against terrain and hostile native tribes. It is also the story of Allie Lee, a young woman who survives a wagon train massacre and brings purpose and romance into Neale’s challenging and hazardous life.
