Whistling Dan finds himself locked in a struggle with the ruthless outlaw Jim Silent, and unable to resist his growing attraction to Kate Cumberland. The outlaw Silent sets a trap for Barry, using Kate as bait. Despite his cunning and gang of long rider outlaws, Silent comes to realize that he has underestimated Barry.
