The Man with Two Left Feet

This is an early collection of 12 short stories by P. G. Wodehouse that had previously appeared in magazines. While some are humorous, most of the stories concern complicated relationships that are resolved through some unexpected development. Set in New York and London, the themes in these stories include the triumph of love over good intentions, misinterpretation, and changes of heart. It is vintage Wodehouse and includes one story, “Extricating Young Gussie,” that is the first appearance of Jeeves, Bertie Wooster and Bertie’s fearsome Aunt Agatha.
