Title information

Frankenstein has had a considerable influence across literature and popular culture and inspired many horror stories and films, including the classic 1931 movie version starring Boris Karloff as the monster. The movie versions of this novel differ greatly from the novel in telling the story only from the point of view of Victor Frankenstein and not his creation, and in changing its ending.
